Dinosaurs were one of the most successful and diverse groups of land animals they first appeared in the Triassic, and dominated in the Jurassic and Cretaceous before most groups were eliminated 66 million years ago. Some survived and evolved into birds.

Alongside the dinosaurs we also have fossils from marine reptiles, flying reptiles, crocodiles and many others from the huge range of reptiles that have lived on Earth.
