About Us

The Fossil Shop is located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, UK and is part of the Hidden Horizons Ltd family. All of our fossils are legally and ethically sourced, either by ourselves our from trusted suppliers. We have a great range of local, Yorkshire Coast fossils as well as other UK material and fossils from around the World.

The Fossil Shop is open 5 days a week (Closed Fridays & Sundays), 10am to 4pm (we do sometimes close for lunch, or the occasional full day closed, so if you are making a long journey it is best to call on 01723 817017 just to be certain!). Open hours may differ during school holiday times.

Hidden Horizons was founded in 2013 and since then we have delivered sessions to over 10,000 school pupils and to thousands of people attending our public events.
